Almanac Beer Co. at Whole Food’s Tap Room

San Francisco-based Almanac Beer Co. will be taking over the taps at Whole Food’s Tap Room. A ticket purchase will get you five 8 oz. pours and finger foods. One of Almanac’s master brewers, Chris, will be on deck to chat about their beers.

High Sierra Brewing Co. at Our Bar

Sparks-based High Sierra Brewing Co. is bringing a variety of rare beers to Our Bar’s new Speakeasy Bar in downtown Reno.

Local IPAs at 40 Mile Saloon

40 Mile Saloon will be pouring a variety of locally-brewed IPAs at their bar in Midtown Reno.

Local Sours at Chapel Tavern

Chapel Tavern is inviting four local breweries to put their sour beers on tap:

  • Tahoe Mountain Brewing Co.: Viejo Rojo, Citrus Gose and Cocotart.
  • Brewers Cabinet: Nuclear Sunset, White Cloud, Bourbon Barrel Sour Cherry Stout, BretteWeizen, Unchained Sour Ale and casks of Sour Porter and a Brett IPA.
  • Great Basin: Bourbon Barrel Black, Wild Lemon and an unnamed Gin Barrel Aged Berliner.
  • The Depot: a Berliner

This will be a great opportunity to explore the different varieties of this growing beer trend.

Sierra Nevada Barrel-Aged Tasting

Sierra Tap House is bringing in several barrel-aged beers from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. for a special tasting event:

New Belgium Specialty Beers and Mini Bike Races for Prizes at Mellow Fellow Pub

Fort Collins-based New Belgium Brewing Company is bringing some specialty beers to Mellow Fellow GastroPub’s new location in Reno. Attendees can join in on mini bike races for prizes.
