Bacon, whiskey and beer? Why aren’t you already signed up?

Kick off summertime fun at CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada’s Bacon, Bourbon and Brews event. It will showcase bacon-focused culinary creations from local food trucks, including Mellow Yellow, Gourmelt, Battle Born, Lazy Sundae, Island Ice and more. Participants will also enjoy the best in local brews from Great Basin Brewing Co., The Brewer’s Cabinet and Under the Rose Brewery. A variety of fine bourbons will also be available, including samples from Wirtz Beverage and local distillery, 7 Troughs Distilling Co.

What: All proceeds from the event will benefit CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada’s medical resource programs for Northern Nevadans in need.
When: Friday, June 27, 2014, from 4-9 p.m.
Where: Held at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch
Tickets: General admission is $35 in advance, and $45 at the door gets one bacon-based meal, two beverages of your choice and general seating. VIP tickets are available for $50 gets one bacon-based meal, three beverages of your choice, access to the VIP tent, which includes separate bar and seating and reserved amphitheater seating.
