Wednesday, April 2 at 8 p.m. Craft Reno host an Italian beer dinner at La Vecchia Ristorante. La Vecchia owner Alberto Gazzola created a menu that Craft Reno paired with some of the finest hand-crafted beers Italy has to offer.  To give the evening a special touch they’ll be pouring several selections from magnum (1.5 liters) and even one from jeroboam (3 liters).

The meal will be six courses that will take your palate on a roller coaster ride of flavor with appropriately complimentary beers to accompany each plate.

Meatball duo, Beef, with Ricotta and Pomodoro Sauce; Wild Boar, Parmesan Crisp, Salsa Verde paired with Birra del Borgo Re Ale (served from Magnum)

Course 2
Grilled Artichokes Hearts Salad, Overnight Tomatoes, Pea Shoots, Amber Ale Vinaigrette paired with Birra del Borgo paired with Dogfish Head “My Antonia” Imperial Pilsner

Course 3
Spring Garlic Prosecco, Burrata Risotto paired with Birrificio del Ducato Nuova Mattina Saison (served from Magnum)

Course 4
Beer Braised One-Bite Ossobuco, Citrus Gremolata paired with Birrificio le Baladin Elixir
Strong Ale (Served from Jeroboam)

Course 5
Dayboat Scallop, Romesco, Wild Rocket Salad paired with Birrificio le Baladin Isaac Witbier (served from Magnum)

Course 6
Baked Pear Crisp, Chocolate Stout Gelato paired with Grado Plato Chocarrubica (Oatmeal Stout)
